made it back from Lewa for christmas. actually played an old shepherd who was there that night for the christmas eve service. acting chops came in handy. and my masai shukas (blankets). off to joburg, south africa, today then cape town tomorrow. gone for a week. fresh material for the blog!
this edition will be "blog lite". much to do this morning but wanted to post something. almost approaching my first 100 days in afrika. it's @ 90 at the moment. so glad i made the move. have a whole new world of friends, experiences, and opportunities. very happy here and excited about the future. can't say i felt that way back home. guess the lesson learned is "if you feel like you're over, time to try something new!"

sue has a massive garden. the whole place reeked of dr. suess, but what not to be taken lightly. it was incredibly impressive and hard to wrap you're mind around. |
